A few years ago, while at Ditch Plains in Montauk, a friend introduced me to "the gratitude rock". Later that day after leaving to take a walk, I was pleasantly surprised to find that a little red rock was placed on my beach towel. I have kept this rock ever since. I keep it in my purse and every time I touch it, I express gratitude to something I appreciate in my life.
